Thrissur:  Police seized MDMA from Kaipamangalam. The police recovered a list containing the names of the students to whom the drugs were handed over from the accused. It was a list of about fifty school and college students between the ages of 17 and 25. The accused told the police that these were the names of those who had given the drug as a loan. Jinesh, a native of Chentrappinni, and Vishnu, a native of Kaipamangalam, were arrested in the incident.

The police caught them with 15.2 grams of MDMA. The police chased the accused and arrested them. The accused also tried to attack the excise team. The accused have stated that the drugs were brought to Kerala from Bengaluru.

The name of the children to whom the drug was handed over, the date of handing over and the amount of rupees given by each of them and what is left to be given were recorded separately in the list from the accused. The list was prepared by keeping separate records of those who paid through Google Pay. The accused had a separate phone for carrying out drug transactions. The police informed that the students were contacted through this number. The investigation into the incident is in progress. Excise also said that the students who are involved in the transaction will be thoroughly checked and the students involved in the transaction will be found.
