Ernakulam: The High Court will hear the contempt of court case against director Baiju Kottarakkara again today. The court has taken a case against Baiju for defaming the trial judge in the actress assault case. He recently apologized for the remark.
It was during a channel discussion that Baiju made defamatory remarks against the Kottarakkara trial judge. By this, the court observed that Baiju Kottarakkara abused the judiciary and took Suo moto case. The action was taken by a bench consisting of Justices A K Jayashankar Nambiar and Justice C P Muhammad Niaz.
Last time in the case, Baiju appeared in Kottarakkara High Court and apologized. Baiju clarified in the court that the remarks were not intended to insult the judiciary.
