Thiruvananthapuram: LDF leaders have severely criticised the Governor today and insulted him on his letter to the CM. Former minister Thomas Isaac has responded that the Governor has some geriatric mental issues and he is humiliating the State.

Kanam Rajendran, CPI State Secretary, told that when there is post office to send letters, every one can do that. Governor does not know what his right is. He does not have the right to appoint or remove ministers. There’s no crisis in the Government, said Kanam Rajendran.

Former minister AK Balan responded that there is nothing to be serious. Governor is speaking on everything daily because we respond with seriousness.

All issues began when K N Balagopalan, the Finance Minister made humiliated statement on the Governor while delivering a public speech. The Governor had sent letter regarding this along with the news paper cuttings on the issue.

It is mentioned that the minister’s statement insults the position of Governor and his office. He also mentioned that he had neglected the insult from the Minister of Education and the Minister for Law.

Chief Minister has responded to the letter that the allegations are baseless and Finance Minister’s statement does not insult the Governor.
