Palakkad: One more accused has been arrested in connection with the brutal killing of RSS Shareerik Shikshan Pramukh Sreenivasan. The arrested is Amir Ali, the State Committee member of SDPI.
The charges imposed on Amir Ali include conspiring, aiding and abetting, destroying evidence and so on. Thirty criminals have been arrested so far. Basheer, the 37th accused in the case was trapped by the police recently. He was arrested while on the run.
The heinous crime took place on 16 April. The criminals attacked Sreenivasan in his motor bike shop at Melamuri and killed him. The gang reached the place in two bikes. Sreenivasan had around ten deep wounds in his body.
