Kochi: The evidence collection of Eldhose Kunnappillil, who is accused in the sexual harassment case, will continue today. A new cyber case has also been registered against Eldose.
The woman alleged that she had got a threatening message asking to withdraw the case. She also revealed that a woman congress worker was sending threatening messages on behalf of Eldose. Evidence collection is being conducted today at the woman’s house in Pettah.
The complaint was that there was an attempt to kill the woman at Kovalam guest house. But Eldose refused the allegations and told that he had only beaten the woman during an argument with her.
After 17 hours of questioning, the crime branch started taking evidence with Eldose. A conditional bail was issued for 10 days for him. The crime branch should complete the interrogation and evidence collection within this period. At the same time, the court will consider the bail application of Eldose in the case of assaulting the young woman today.
