Possibility for AKG centre model attack; Security at Raj Bhavan has been beefed up

Thiruvananthapuram: Security has been increased at Raj Bhavan, the official residence of the Governor. By last night, more police forces were deployed in the locality of Raj Bhavan. Security has been increased following a warning for the possibility of an AKG Centre model attack. According to the intelligence report the protest against the Governor will take place at the Raj Bhavan.

Vehicles passing in front of Raj Bhavan will also be checked. In areas like Vellayambalam and Kavadiyar, vehicles are allowed to pass only after inspection. The police stated that security is being increased as part of avoiding law and order problems.
