Thiruvananthapuram: Police recorded the arrest of the culprit in Sharon murder case, Greeshma from Trivandrum medical college. It is hinted that more arrests will be recorded soon. Greeshma’s Father, mother, uncle and his daughter are under custody. Police had earlier confirmed that there will be a detailed investigation as there is a mismatch in their statements.
Greeshma drank Lizol, a disinfectant, which was kept inside the washroom of the police station. She got admitted in the hospital when she faced physical discomfort after coming out of the wash room. Later she was admitted to Nedumangad Taluk Hospital and then moved to Trivandrum Medical College hospital.
Greeshma is a second year student of MA English. She had poisoned Sharon as marriage was fixed with another man. She admitted that she murdered Sharon by giving him poison mixed kashayam (ayurvedic medicine) as a new marriage was fixed.
