Thiruvananthapuram: More arrests have been made in the case of killing Sharon, by poisoning him in a kashayam (ayurvedic medicine) in Parassala. The arrest of accused Greeshma’s mother and uncle was recorded in connection with the Sharon murder. Both tried to destroy the evidence after the incident.
After Sharon’s death, her mother and uncle suspected Greeshma. When asked about this, Greeshma admitted that she killed him. With this, the evidence including the bottle of kashayam was destroyed. After recording the arrest, both were subjected to medical examination. At present, both are at Aruvikkara and Vattapara stations. They will be brought home today and evidence will be taken. The investigation team will question Greeshma’s father and another relative today.
Meanwhile, Greeshma may be shifted to the hospital cell today. Greeshma is transferred to the hospital in the situation of suicide attempt. Greeshma was remanded by the Neyyattinkara Magistrate in the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital. The police will also file a custody application to release Greeshma, who is being shifted to jail due to her health condition.
