Thiruvananthapuram: It is confirmed that Santhosh, the driver of Minister Roshi Augustine assaulted the woman doctor near the Museum. The woman identified the culprit, Santhosh, during the identity parade. Police will take further action on the incident.
Santhosh was caught in an incident of trespassing the house at Kuravankonam. The police suspected that he was the one who tried attacking the doctor in the Museum. Following this, a recognition parade was conducted.
The police had released the sketch of the suspect. But, Santhosh shaved off his head after the incident. It is said that he changed his hair style to avoid identification. His arrest will be recorded soon.
The Innova car which was used by the culprit Santhosh was a crucial evidence in the case. The car was recognized in the CCTV footage found from the museum and Kuravankonam. This gave strength to the evidence against Santhosh.
