Bengaluru: One more culprit has got arrested over the heinous murder of the Bangaluru Yuva Morcha leader Praveen Nettaru. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Shahid, a Bellari native, after a long investigation.
He is one member of the gang those who were involved in the conspiracy of the murder of Praveen Nettaru. After the murder, Shahid was on the run with the help of the SDPI leaders. In the midst of this, he has been captured following secret information.
Shahid is the brother-in-law of the SDPI leaders Shafi Bellary and Iqbal Bellary. He will be taken to Bengaluru for detailed interrogation and after completing this, he will be produced in the NIA court.
Praveen Nettaru was murdered on 26th July while returning from his shop at night by a group of SDPI and Popular Front workers. The murder was planned to create a terror atmosphere across the region.
