Guwahati: Amir Hasan, the leader of the banned organisation, Campus Front, has been remanded for five days. He was brought to Guwahati by the Assam police last day.
He was produced in front of the Chief Judicial Magistrate by the police after the first level of interrogation on yesterday afternoon. Assam police is all set to arrest him after his remand.
The police arrested him on the basis of secret information. He was moving from Assam to Bangalore in the midst of the NIA investigation. He got arrested when he was on the run in Bangalore with his family.
Amir is a native of Bhakvamari region in Assam. His house had been raided after the arrest and seized documents of PFI and Campus Front, Apart from this, anti-hijab posters were also seized from his house.
