Pathanamthitta: It has been confirmed that Padma, a native of Tamil Nadu, and Roslie, a resident of Kaladi, were the victims of the Elanthoor murder. The DNA test conducted at the Thiruvananthapuram Forensic Lab confirmed that the dead bodies belonged to Padma and Roslie. The investigation team will get its report today.
Currently, the parts of the dead bodies are kept at the Kottayam Medical College. These will be released to the relatives as soon as the report is received. The culprits Laila and Bhagat Singh, buried the bodies near their house in Elanthoor.
The police had suspected that there were other dead bodies among those recovered. But with the DNA results, it has been confirmed that the bodies belong to both of them. The body parts were sent for DNA testing a month ago.
