Thiruvananthapuram: Explosion in a school at the capital city where the SI exam is being held. The incident took place at a Tamil Medium School in Chalai region. The explosion happened in the morning inside the cloak room where the mobiles and bags were kept. About ten mobile phones and bags were burnt in the incident. It is said that the explosion may have been caused by a mobile phone kept inside the room.
Seven smartphones and bags of the candidates, who reached there for writing the PSC exam to the post of SI, were destroyed in the fire. The fire force arrived at the place and extinguished the fire, Police said that an investigation is going on over the incident.
