Raipur: Security forces killed communist terrorists in an encounter in Chhattisgarh. Three terrorists, including a woman, were killed. The encounter took place at around 7:30 in the morning in the Porma forest area of Bijapur district.
The security forces had received an information that communist terrorists were staying in the forest and were planning terrorist attacks. The encounter took place when the security force came for inspection.
A joint team of District Reserve Guard, Special Task Force and CRPF reached the forest area. When the communist terrorist tried for an attack, the security forces retaliated back. Then the terrorists fled into the forest. After the encounter, the dead bodies of the communist terrorists were found. Efforts are on to identify the three communist terrorists. Security forces are continuing to search the area.
