Amritsar: Drug smuggling through drones again on Punjab border. BSF also recovered 7.5 kg of heroin, explosives, arms and ammunition from the drone. The Pak drone was found in Choohriwala Chishti village of Fazilka district.
The BSF said that 7.5 kg heroin stock in three packets, pistols, two magazines and 50 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the drone. The BSF personnel noticed a loud noise on the border. The drone was spotted entering from the Pak border and fired. The information was then reported to the police and security forces.
The forces fired at the drone continuously. At the same time, the police noticed four people moving suspiciously in the area. They fired them but the assailants ran away. After this, the drone crossed the Pak border. A large stock of drugs and weapons was found during the search conducted after this.
