Thiruvananthapuram: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor strongly criticized the state government. Unemployment is increasing in Kerala. Tharoor said that 40 percent of the youth in the state are unemployed.
The finance minister has approached the central government to increase the borrowing limit. Kerala has become Satan’s land for industrialists. Tharoor also mocked that the government is buying votes by giving kits. To the questions about controversies in the Congress, Tharoor replied that he was not a member of any faction.
Even on policy matters, Shashi Tharoor’s criticism comes at a time when opposition leader V D Satheesan and others are taking a soft approach to the government due to anti-BJP attitude. Even when the Bharat Jodo Yatra passed through Kerala, neither Rahul Gandhi nor the Kerala government faced each other.
