Srinagar: The security forces recovered explosives panted by the terrorists in Shopian. Kashmir Police informed that the terrorists had a major plot for explosion and IED was recovered from the area near Shirmal.
Police and the security forces reached the area and the bomb squad neutralized the explosive. Earlier last month, similar incident happened at Kanbati village in Bandipora region from where IED had been recovered.
Several such incidents had been reported from the border in which drugs as well as explosives were sent via drones from Pakistan. Central Home Ministry will conduct a meeting in the wake of repeated terror attempts. The meeting will be presided by the Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla. Officers including Kashmir DGP will take part in the meeting.
