Thiruvananthapuram: The main accused Greeshma in the Parashala Sharon Raj murder case has changed her statement in court. Greeshma’s secret statement is that she confessed to the crime due to intense pressure from the crime branch. Greeshma gave her statement in front of second class magistrate Vinod Babu of Neyyattinkara court.
The crime branch officials convinced the mother and uncle that they would be exempted from the case. Greeshma confessed before the district crime branch, which is investigating the case, that she mixed pesticide in the juice several times to kill Sharon. But she denied these things in a confidential statement.
The police had said that Greeshma confessed to the crime on the first day of interrogation. The girl told the police that she mixed poison in kashayam. However, she changed all this statement in the court. The investigation team says that Greeshma may have changed her statement as advised by her lawyer to escape from the case.
