Patna: Another hooch tragedy occurred again in Bihar after drinking fake liquor. Nine people lost their lives in Chhapra district. It is reported that the death toll is likely to rise.
After drinking alcohol, the people felt tired and they were immediately rushed to the hospital. 9 people lost their lives before reaching the hospital. Two others died while undergoing treatment. The police registered a case and started investigation. The Police are investigating whether anyone else has physical problems after drinking alcohol. It is reported that several people have lost eyesight. The government has not yet responded to the incident.
32 people died after drinking fake liquor last year. A similar incident took place in Saran district in August. 11 people lost their lives in the fake alcohol disaster that day. About 12 people were seriously affected and many of them had lost their sight too.
