Gwalior: Reportedly, a woman gave birth to a four-legged baby girl in her first delivery. The incident took place in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. A four-legged baby girl was born at Kamala Raja Hospital on Wednesday. Aarti Kushwaha, a young woman from Sikandar Kampoo region, gave birth to a baby with a different appearance.
The doctors said the baby is healthy despite the high number of legs. The weight of the baby is 2.3 kg. Meanwhile, doctors say that the other two legs are non-functional. The hospital authorities decided to surgically remove these two legs.
The condition known as ischiopagus has happened to the baby girl. This is a condition where the embryo becomes two. Here, two of these are below the waist of the baby girl. The baby is currently under observation in the hospital.
