New Delhi: Union Home Ministry has said that the NIA is conducting a comprehensive investigation to break the global terrorist connection of goonda-mafia groups. Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai gave the reply during the question and answer session in Parliament. He also informed that the NIA is conducting a comprehensive investigation against the goonda-terrorist organizations functioning in different parts of the country.

The first two of the 11 cases were registered in 2019. The Union Minister of State also informed that four cases were registered in 2020-21 and one case this year. 112 out of 115 criminals were arrested in 11 cases. Rai was responding to a question by Bahujan Samaj Party leader Kunwar Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha.

The main question was whether the global terror groups are using the gangs, liquor and drug mafia in India and what action is being taken by the central government. A comprehensive investigation is being conducted in all the 11 registered cases. The criminal network of various global terrorist organizations is large. The Union Minister said that the investigation teams are able to find them quickly.
