New Delhi: While the world is once again facing the threat of Corona, the Congress-led ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ has completely ignored the warnings given by the central government in the national capital. Today the yathra is in Delhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and her daughter have joined Rahul on the journey. Sonia and actor Kamal Haasan are expected to join the trip soon.

Though the Central Government had given instructions like avoiding crowds, maintaining social distancing, and not neglecting the use of masks and sanitizers, the journey went ahead without considering any of these. Currently, the country is in a safe position and the Ministry of Health has warned not to invite disaster through carelessness.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya came up with a strong criticism against the irresponsible reactions of the Congress leaders to the repeated warnings of the Central Government and health experts. Gone are the days of changing the rules for a family. He said that as the Union Health Minister of India, it is his duty to save the country from the spread of Corona.

The Union Minister pointed out that many people who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra were infected with the Coronavirus. In a letter sent to Rahul Gandhi, Mansukh Mandviya had requested to follow the Covid protocol in a situation where the spread of Corona poses a threat again. Masks and sanitizer should be mandatory during travel. Mansukh Mandviya also informed that only those who have received the vaccine should be allowed to participate in the journey. The Union Minister had also requested that the Bharat Jodo Yatra should be stopped in the interest of the public if it is not possible to obey the Covid norms.

However, Rahul’s response was that the Corona alert was a conspiracy by the BJP and the Central Government to cancel the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul had said that no matter what happens, the Yatra will reach Kashmir. BJP leaders alleged that this is Rahul’s ignorance. The BJP asked Rahul to read the newspaper when he gets time during the journey to understand what is going on in the world and urge the followers to do the same.
