Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi passed away at the age of 100. She was undergoing treatment at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre Hospital in Ahmedabad due to age-related ailments. It is reported that there is no change in the official programs of the PM. According to reports, he will participate in important meetings through video conference.
Mother Heeraben was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday night after her health deteriorated. The PM informed the outside world about his mother’s death through a heart touching tweet. He wrote, “In Maa I have always felt that trinity, which contains the journey of an ascetic, the symbol of a selfless Karmayogi and a life committed to values”. The Prime Minister also recalled visiting his mother on her 100th birthday.
He always describes his mother as the most special person in his life. Before taking important decisions in any rush, he used to visit the Mother and seek her blessings.
