Kozhikode: The stolen wallet and the valuable documents reached by post to the owner. But Rs 14,000 kept in the purse was not returned. Sabit, a resident of Parappanpoyil, Thamarassery, received the documents in the lost purse by post. The purse was lost on December 30. The owner received it after four days on 3rd January.
Sabith reached Kozhikode railway station on 30th to go to Chennai. He noticed that he lost his purse when he entered the train at around 8 pm. Driving license, ATM card, Aadhaar card, identity card etc were all kept in that wallet.
As soon as Sabit came to know about the loss of the wallet, he filed a complaint with the police. In the meantime, the documents have arrived at Sabit’s address.
