Malappuram: Police captured a 37 year old person while smuggling MDMA. Jaffar Ali , a native of Thanur, was arrested in Kannanthali. 1.70 grams of MDMA and Rs 76,000 were found from him. Apart from this, various types of knives, knife sharpeners, wooden sticks, iron rod and a gun were seized from his house.
During the search, devices for measuring MDMA and small envelopes, used to wrap MDMA, were found from his house, police said. The police started an investigation based on secret information received about drug smuggling from Malappuram. Jafar Ali was arrested by the District Antinarcotics Special Force and Police.
