Srinagar: The police arrested Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist ,Farhan Faros. The terrorist was caught in the midst of a checking that held in the Srinagar border. Heroin, a deadly drug, and money were recovered from him. Police seized 450 grams of heroin, Rs 9.95 lakh, letter pad of the banned terrorist association, Lashkar-e-Taiba and other documents were recovered. The terrorist was arrested by the Kotibaug police.
The arrest of the Lashkar terrorist from Srinagar has been reported after the arrest of an IS terrorist from Madhya Pradesh. The notorious terrorist Abdul Raqeeq Qureshi was arrested from Khandwa in Madhya Pradesh. He was a former activist of the banned organization, the Student Islamic Movement of India. Police have also found various devices like mobile phones and pen drives from him.
Police arrested Qureshi after arresting terrorists MD Saddam and Saeed. Qureshi was their companion. A number of Jihadi content and a list of Jihadi channels were also recovered from the arrested terrorists.
