Kasaragod: Arun Vidyadharan (32) the accused in the Athira suicide case has been found dead at Apsara lodge in Kanhangad, Kasaragod.
Arun was absconding ever since his former friend Athira had committed suicide.
On Thursday morning Arun was found hanging in the room. The lodge employees found him and reported to the police.
The employees, along with the help of police had conducted a search, finding his identity card. Further, Kottayam police confirmed that the deceased was in fact Arun.
Reports suggest that a lookout notice was put out yesterday. His phone was last activated in Coimbatore. Arun was charged under IPC 306 (Abetment of suicide) and Section 119 (b) of Kerala police act.
