Srinagar: 10 people were dead after a bus met with an accident by overturning into a gorge from passing through Jammu-Kashmir national highway. The bus was traveling to Katra from Amritasar. 55 passengers were injured and 10 were dead at the spot. The injured passengers were admitted in the hospital, CRPF group were leading the rescue mission from the spot.
The officials reported that the rescue operation by the State Disaster Management Force has almost done. The primary reports say that, the cause of the accident was there were more passengers in the bus than the limit. A crane was used for lifting the bus in search of survivals under the bus.
The CRPF troops, police and other officials is there at the accident area. The police officials have said that the enquiry has started.
