Malappuram: The Valanchery police arrested the accused, who were staying in a lodge after committing robbery and selling drugs. Rahul Raj native of Atholi,Calicut , and Atholippadi native Khalidh were arrested. Both of them were arrested by the police after conducting a raid in a lodge at Valanchery.
Shifting their rooms, stealing, and selling drugs were the routine activity of the accused, and they were involved in several criminal cases. The policemen have daringly arrested both the accused after they attacked one of the officer and hurting themselves.
Rahul Raj is an accused of several theft cases in Calicut, Kannur, and Wayand, assaulting police officers by invading police station, and being a convict in a drug case. A bike stolen from Payyannur railway station was also recovered from them.
