Wayanad: Don Dresias, son of Thuravankunnu native Jose, passed away by falling into the water during the excursion in Wayanad. The accident took place at the Kattapadi River in Chooramala, Wayanad, on May 31st.
The boy was going to bath in a shallow river after trekking in Soochipara. Don and two others fell into the ditch in the river. Jeep drivers and other people rescued him and rushed to the hospital, but the boy passed away due to brain death while undergoing treatment last night.
His brother, Alan Kristo, died last year after being swept away in the Karuvannur River. Don’s parents were ready to donate his organs after his death, and his organs will give new life to four people.
