Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur FC, an Indian Super League (ISL) team, has announced the release of four foreign players from their squad ahead of the upcoming season. The players being released are defender Dylan Fox, midfielder Rafael Crivellaro, forward Harry Sawyer, and Jay Emmanuel Thomas.

Jay Emmanuel Thomas and Harry Sawyer joined Jamshedpur FC at the beginning of the 2022–23 season, while Rafael Crivellaro and Dylan Fox joined the team during the winter transfer window.

Jay Emmanuel Thomas, a debutant in the ISL, made 21 appearances for Jamshedpur FC, showcasing his versatility by playing in various positions such as canter-forward and central midfielder. The 32-year-old English player managed to score two goals across the ISL and the Super Cup under the guidance of head coach Aidy Boothroyd.

Harry Sawyer, who primarily played his football in Australia, also made his ISL debut with Jamshedpur FC. The forward contributed significantly to the team’s performance, playing 22 matches and recording five goals and five assists across the ISL and the Super Cup.

Rafael Crivellaro, a Brazilian player, played a crucial role in Chennaiyin FC’s impressive journey to the final in the 2019–20 season before making a move to Jamshedpur FC in the middle of the 2022–23 season. Crivellaro made 13 appearances for his side, scoring two goals and providing four assists in the ISL and the Super Cup.

On the other hand, Dylan Fox, who joined Jamshedpur FC from FC Goa, did not feature in any games for the Men of Steel during the 2022–23 season.

The release of these four foreign players follows the departure of other players such as Boris Singh, Farukh Choudhary, Ishan Pandita, and Laldinliana Renthlei from the team. Jamshedpur FC will now focus on reshaping their squad for the upcoming season, considering the available options and potential new signings.
