THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A liquor bar was attacked for refusing to sell alcohol at a reduced price, resulting in the arrest of two individuals. Abhishek and Harisree, natives of Iringapuram, were taken into custody in connection with the incident.
The attack occurred last night at Fort Gate Bar in Thrissur Kottapadi. A verbal argument erupted between the bar staff and the youths when they demanded alcohol at a lower price. Following the altercation, the bar staff asked them to leave, but the situation escalated, leading to the youths returning with iron rods and vandalizing the bar.
During the attack, three bar staff members were injured and subsequently admitted to the hospital.
