Blue Dart, a leading logistics firm in South Asia, has named its service ‘Dart Plus’ in India as ‘Bharat Dart’. The name change was done after detailed discussions. The company mentioned that the move is based on the assessment that the name ‘Bharat’ has great customer support. Pablo Siano, CEO-DHL eCommerce, said, “This is a very important decision and Blue Dart is taking the right approach to the needs of the Indian people. Serviceable locations in India are marked with special focus on Tier II and Tier III cities. Blue Dart MD Balfour Manuel commented that ‘Bharat Dart’ is the first step towards an exciting chapter.
“As India prepares to celebrate its centenary of independence in 2047, focus on e-commerce and logistics is very important. Blue Dart follows the Government of India’s policy of promoting ‘Make in India’ initiatives.
