Idukki: Police registered a case against the father who posted on Facebook that his minor daughter was for sale. The Thodupuzha police have registered a case against a native of Edavetti. He informed through Facebook that his 11-year-old daughter is for sale. People who noticed this informed the police.
The accused is a person who sells alcohol and tobacco products. The child whom he tried to sell through facebook is his daughter from his first wife. The accused left his first wife and got married for the second time and he has a child from this relationship. Thodupuzha Police said that the case has been handed over to the Cyber Cell and further action will be taken if the report is received.
