New Delhi: The ongoing special session of the Parliament in Delhi has seen discussions on a number of issues, none more significant than the Women Reservation Bill that was passed by the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
The discussions on the bill in Parliament have seen several women celebrities visit the new building this week. The latest to join the list were actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Divya Dutta, who visited the new Parliament building on Thursday and praised the Women’s Reservation Bill.
“I think there will be an awareness. Those belonging to film industry feel that it is difficult to enter politics but the women’s reservation bill could inspire the common man to enter politics,” Tamannaah said.
