Hangzhou: Bharat shines with a silver medal as the Asian Games enter its seventh day. Indian shooters secured a silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed category, with Sarabjot Singh and TS Divya as the winning pair. The Indian players clinched second place with a score of 14-16 in a closely fought competition against China’s Zhang Bowen and Ranxin Jiang.
A total of 19 medals were earned in shooting as Bharat began the seventh day with a silver medal. Bharat continues its successful journey, rising from fourth to third place with a total of 34 medals, including 8 gold, 13 silver, and 13 bronze.
Meanwhile, Malayalee stars Murali Sreesankar and Jinson Johnson are on their journey towards gold. Murali Sreesankar advanced to the finals in men’s long jump, while Jinson races for gold in the 1500m event. Additionally, Bharat’s medal hopes rest on Jeswin Aldrin in the long jump, Ajay Kumar Saroj in the 1500m, and Jyoti Yaraji and Vitya Ramraj in the 100m hurdles.
