Thiruvananthapuram : A BJP worker was stabbed after questioning an individual about dumping garbage in front of the Gurudeva temple in Varkala. The victim, identified as Dinesan from Edawa, was attacked last night at around 7 o’clock. Dinesan, who sustained injuries in the assault, was subsequently admitted to a private hospital in Varkala. The alleged attacker has been apprehended by the Ayoor police.
While on his way after a visit to the temple, Dinesan observed an individual disposing of garbage in front of the Gurudeva temple. When he inquired about this, he was unexpectedly attacked by the accused, resulting in Dinesan being stabbed in the head. According to the police, Dinesan had approximately eight stitches for his head wound.
