Srinagar: The Army has recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation in Kupwara, Kashmir. The weapons were discovered through a joint effort involving the Army, Kashmir Police, and intelligence agencies.
The team recovered an AK rifle, 26 under-barrel grenade launchers (UBGL), hand grenades, and a substantial quantity of explosives. The Army has reported that terrorist hideouts have been destroyed, and the search operation is ongoing. They suspect that more terrorists may be hiding in the area.
Yesterday (SEP 30), two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Kupwara. The Army successfully eliminated two terrorists who attempted to infiltrate the Kumkadi area of the Machal sector in Kashmir. This operation was conducted jointly by the Army and the police.
