Kozhikode: In Vengeri, Kozhikode, a man was apprehended in possession of cannabis. The individual arrested, Mohammad Shameel, is a native of Sultan Bathery in Wayanad. In another incident, the Excise team detained Anand Kumar, a resident of Salem from South Beach, for possessing three liters of Mahi liquor. Additionally, Rajesh Modak from West Bengal was arrested on Pavamani Road for being in possession of four liters of Indian-made foreign liquor.
Meanwhile, during a vehicle inspection in Kollam yesterday(OCT-5), a young man was found with 50 grams of cannabis on a scooter. A subsequent search at his residence led to the discovery of an additional 8 kg of cannabis. Sanal Kumar, a resident of Kottamkara, was arrested by a team led by the Kollam Range Excise Officer.
