Kozhikode: A jeep parked near the medical college was targeted in a petrol bomb attack in Kozhikode. The incident occurred during a clash between two gangs in Poovattuparamba, Kozhikode. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in the incident, which took place in front of the Medical College Casualty unit around 2 am today (OCT 10).
The jeep caught fire after the petrol bomb was thrown, but local residents quickly intervened and extinguished the flames. Last night (OCT 9), there had been a clash between two gangs in Kuttikattoor, resulting in two individuals seeking treatment at the Medical College Hospital. When the police arrived on the scene, the alleged culprits were identified, leading to another altercation. The jeep which was attacked was the one in which the injured in the conflict were brought to the Medical College.
