Hyderabad: AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi calls Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a devil and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to show solidarity with the people of Palestine. The Hyderabad MP was speaking at a pro-Palestine conference organized in Hyderabad. During the conference, Owaisi also criticized the Israelis as aggressors and that the world is not listening to the people of Gaza.

“Netanyahu is a devil and a tyrant and a war criminal,” the Owaisi said.

“The poor people of Gaza, with a population of 21 lakhs; 10 lakhs have been rendered homeless. The world is silent on this. Look at the one who killed, but what harm did these poor people of Gaza do to you? The media is doing one-sided reporting on the issue. For 70 years Israel has been an occupier. You cannot see the occupation, you cannot see the atrocities, ” ANI reports quote Owaisi as saying.

“I would like to appeal to the Prime Minister to stop the atrocities being committed against the Palestinians. Palestine is not just a matter for Muslims, it is a humanitarian issue”.

Owaisi also criticized Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for saying that action will be taken against those who show solidarity with Palestine.

According to UN report more than 1,300 buildings have been destroyed and over 2,200 people had been killed in Israel’s retaliation. Local hospitals and their dedicated staff are struggling to cope with the increasing number of casualties, both dead and injured.
