Wayanad: Vehicles parked at two places in Ponnam Kolli, Chulliyode, were set on fire by unidentified individuals. The incident happened around 2 a.m. today when unknown persons set fire to vehicles parked within the yard. A bike and a car belonging to Akhil, a resident of Ponnam Kolli, and his neighbour Benny’s bike were burned.

Akhil, awakened by the sound of an explosion, discovered his car engulfed in flames. He reported the incident to the fire department. They arrived on the scene and extinguished the fire. It was during this time that Benny’s bike was also discovered to be on fire. Along with this, a nearby shop had been set on fire. The firefighters and locals jointly put out the fire.
