Thiruvananthapuram: Under the blessings of Pushpanjali Swamiyar Kizhakke Munchira Madom Parameswara Brahmananda Theertha Swamiyar, the Akhila Kerala Thanthri Mandalam Thiruvananthapuram District Zone organised the sacred Ashta Aishwarya Mahayagnam and Sri Chakra worship.
The spiritual event featured the performances of Ashtadravya MahaGanapathi Homam, Navagraha Dosha Parihara Pujas, and Sri Chakra Pujas, which were conducted as part of the MahaYajna. Esteemed tantri (priest) chiefs also participated in the Ashta Aishwarya Mahayagnam and Sri Chakra Puja.
Simultaneously, the nineth annual meeting of All Kerala Tantri Mandalam Thiruvananthapuram District Zone and Acharya Kudumba Sangam (family meet) were convened. The event was inaugurated by Swamiyar Kizhakke Munchira Madom Parameswara Brahmananda Theertha Swamiyar, who shared his thoughts, stating, “Brahmaswam has gone, and Devaswam has gone; now only the faith of the devotees is there.”
During the meeting, the prestigious Smriti Award, named in honour of the former head of Sabarimala, Vazhayil Madom VK Sankaran Namboothiri, was bestowed upon the former Sabarimala Melshanthi (head priest), N Balamurali. The award was presented by Kizhakke Munchira Madom Parameswara Brahmananda Theertha Swamiyar.
