Alappuzha: An attack on the Sree Narayana Guru temple by anti-social elements occurred in Kattoor Korthussery, Alappuzha. The assailants broke the gate of the building and damaged the hundials. The incident took place at around 5 am today (Nov 1).
The attack was discovered when the staff arrived at the site in the morning to open the temple. The gate and the hundials were broken and discarded. In addition, the vandals destroyed the flags and boards placed outside the temple building. Officials believe that this was a deliberate attempt to harm the structure. The police have confirmed that there is no evidence of money theft from the hundials, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
