Kochi: A father attempted to kill his own daughter. He subjected her to a brutal assault, using an iron rod to beat on her entire body and forcibly pouring poison into her mouth. As a result of this, the 14-year-old girl was admitted to the intensive care unit.
This act was reportedly motivated by the girl’s relationship with a young man of a different religion. In response to the incident, the Aluva West Police took the father into custody.
