Bomb threat against Kothamangalam police station; accused held

Kochi: A fake bomb threat targeted the Kothamangalam police station around 11 am. The threat was delivered via a phone call. Subsequently, the police and bomb squad conducted an hour-long investigation, but no explosives were discovered.

Following an extensive inquiry, authorities arrested the individual responsible for the fake bomb threat. Hanif (43), a resident of Marottichal, was apprehended. He placed a threatening call to the Thiruvananthapuram police control room at approximately 10 am today (Nov 10). The police have confirmed ongoing interrogation of the suspect, with no further details currently available.
