Palakkad: The bodies of those who died in a road accident in Kashmir have been brought home. The dead bodies of Anil, Sudheesh, Rahul and Vignesh, natives of Chittoor, Palakkad, were repatriated. The dead bodies were brought to Kochi in an IndiGo flight that left Srinagar the other day. Then the dead bodies were taken to Chittoor in a special ambulance.
Rajesh, Sunil, Sreejesh, Arun, Ajith and Sujeev who were injured in the accident were also brought home in the same flight. The bodies will be kept for public viewing at the Technical School in Chittoor till 10 am. The funeral rites will be held at Chittoor Manthakkad public crematorium at 10 am.
Five people, including four Malayalis, died in a car accident at Zoji La Pass in Kashmir. The group was returning from Sonamarg when their vehicle skidded off the road and fell into gorge.
