Thrissur: The BJP state leadership meeting is scheduled to take place in Thrissur today. The meeting will convene at Hotel Pearl Regency at 11 am. This meeting is being held as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Thrissur to assess the preparations and review the election process.
The protest programs against the anti-people actions of the state government will also be discussed. BJP Kerala unit in-charge Prakash Javadekar MP and BJP national general secretary Radha Mohan Das Agarwal will attend the meeting. A meeting of IT cell officials will also be held in the afternoon.
The Prime Minister is set to arrive in Thrissur on January 3 to participate in the Women’s Conference, which is expected to be attended by two lakh women. As part of this event, a roadshow featuring the Prime Minister will also take place at Swaraj Round.
