Perunna: Kerala celebrates the 147th birth anniversary of social reformer Mannath Padmanabhan. During the celebration, N.S.S. General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair highlighted that many leaders who used to come in the past do not come to Perunna now. Thennala Balakrishna Pillai inaugurated the conference held at NSS, Mannam Nagar, Perunna, Changanassery. Several political leaders visited Mannam Samadhi and offered flowers. Many leaders had arrived at Perunna since the morning. The general meeting commenced after the floral tribute at the Samadhi.

President Dr. M. Sasikumar chaired the meeting. Union Minister V. Muraleedharan arrived at Perunna, visited the Samadhi, and presented floral tributes. Representatives from 60 taluk union Karayogams, women’s societies, and children’s societies participated in the gathering.
