Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Kerala; to address two lakh women in Thrissur

Thrissur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kerala to participate in the BJP’s Women’s Conference, expected to be attended by two lakh women. He landed at Nedumbassery airport in a special flight from Agatti and then proceeded to Kuttanellur by helicopter. The Prime Minister will then travel to the district hospital premises by road and participate in the roadshow scheduled to start around 3:15 pm. Covering a distance of one and a half kilometers through Thekke Gopura Nada, Manikandanal, and Naduvilal, he will eventually reach the conference venue at Thekkinkadu Maidan.

The Prime Minister came to Kerala to participate in the Women’s Conference ‘Sthree Shakti Modikk Oppam’ (Empower Women with Modi). Prime Minister will address two lakh women in the conference. Actress Shobhana, Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha MP, cricketer Minnu Mani, Mariyakutty who is fighting for welfare pension, social activist Uma Preman, Indian animal conservationist Dr Sosamma Iype and industrialist Beena Kannan will share the stage with the Prime Minister.

Union Minister V. Muraleedharan, Prakash Javadekar MP, Radha Mohan Das Agarwal MP, national leaders A. P. Abdullakutty, Tom Vadakkan, Anil Antony, BJP State President K Surendran, actor Suresh Gopi, Mahila Morcha State President Nivedita Subramanian, BJP ex-state presidents and around forty people will be on the stage. The Prime Minister will return to Kuttanellur by road at 4.30 pm and return to Nedumbassery by helicopter.
